This mono hair system is a very classic model in our mono base toupee factory.  And we are excel in doing this well. This custom toupee is made for an elderly customer.

Fine mono is durable, breathable and comfortable, so it’s always the first choice base material for elderly end-users.

PU coated at sides and back increase the durability of whole hair system, and it’s also a great part for tape using.

To make the front hairline looking natural enough, we make first 1” with skin gauze, which is thinner and more natural.

Since this is hairpiece made for an older customer, there will be grey hair to match his own hair naturally. The customer asked for different grey hair percentage at different areas. This is usually what we made for older people in our mono base factory. Typically, there will be the biggest grey hair percentage at temple and side areas, then back area.

If you’re not sure about the grey hair percentage (different factories have different standards), there are two ways to solve it: one is to use color ring as reference; the other is to mail hair samples for reference. In this way, there will be different hair samples for one order, please note hair sample 1,2,3 for classification.

As a professional mono base toupee factory, we would like to share some maintenance tips with you. No matter fine mono or PU base material, they are very durable themselves. The lifespan is around 6-12 months. And we say this lifespan according the toupee base design. If we consider daily maintenance in it, the lifespan is vary differently.

Since the fine mono mesh hole is super small, we need more careful maintenance. Firstly, we need to change the tapes more regularly, maximum 2-3 weeks. Your customers need to exchange it even shorter time in summer. Secondly, when your customers take off the hair system for cleaning, please make sure to clean thoroughly to get rid of all conditioner, hair protect oil and tapes residue. Only with very careful maintenance, the mono hair system can last for longer time as the wearers expect.
